Hyderabad, April 24: Good news to the BUS lovers, as they are getting the advanced technology to detect the BUS Information soon.
While going to matter, The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation has entered into an agreement with a French-based company Lumiplan for implementing smart transport system to install GPS tracking and advanced onboard electronic equipment in the RTC buses.
According to the sources, The system will help to send SMS messages to passengers regarding real-time information about buses and also monitor the operations by the corporation.
According to the official, the corporation would use the technology to inform the passengers through solar LED display boards, multimodal smartphone app and multimedia screens at the bus stations.
The official said the pilot project would be taken up with Rs 20 crore grant by the French govt.
