Woman died due to dowry harassment

Hyderabad, April 23: Here is another woman has committed suicide in Ramgopalpet due to alleged dowry harassment on Saturday.

While coming to details, A housewife has ended her life by jumping from a three-storied building at Chutalapati, Ramgopalpet allegedly due to dowry harassment by her husband and in-laws.

The Ramgopalpet police said that, A 19 yrs old woman named as R Nikitha(19), who married Subhramaniam a year ago. Her family alleged that she was being harassed by Subramaniam, his father Ramesh and mother Prabhavathi for dowry.

A case was registered under IPC section 498 (dowry harassment) and 306 (abetment to suicide) and the trio was arrested.
