Congress lags behind in campaigning

Hyderabad, October 3: There is no doubt that the main opposition party in Telangana, Congress is lagging behind in getting the expected mileage, despite its relentless fight against the anti-farmer and anti-public policies of the ruling TRS.

Congress leaders openly stated that failure of Congress in media management and lack of its own media are the reasons for the problem. Compared to other parties, media management is very uncommon in the party leaders.

With this, the media is also covering programmes of national or state-level leaders, neglecting that of local leaders, they observed. The leaders also felt that the age gap between the senior leaders and the scribes has become an obstacle for interaction between them, due to which the points of the leaders are not focused.

They suggested strengthening the PCC media wing further. Though the party doesn't have its own media, but several media organizations are ready to campaign on behalf of the party.

It was criticized that Congress leaders are neglecting to take lead to campaign party's programmes among the public. The same issue was discussed at the people's representatives training programme held last month in the city.
