Vijayawada, September 30: Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu's comments on his son and TDP national general secretary, Nara Lokesh created sensation among the party. In a recent party meeting in Vijayawada, Naidu directed the leaders to speed up their working style.
He further said 'Earlier Lokesh would do any work almost immediately. But now he is somewhat slowed down.'Suggesting his son to speed up, the CM clarified that he will not spare anyone, even his son, regarding the party affairs.
Naidu has concentrated on the newly formed State, new capital, development etc soon after taking power in the new AP State. He put aside the party affairs. But as the 2019 general elections are fast approaching, he turned his attention on party.
He is striving to strengthen the party to show its might in the ensuing town and municipal elections.
Meanwhile, the cabinet expansion may further delay. Elections should be conducted within six months for electing Lokesh as MLC.
Then only he can get cabinet berth. The party leaders are eying Lokesh as the next AP CM and TDP chief. In this situation, Lokesh has to work hard to meet the expectations of the party and his father.
