Still no clarity over Hanamkonda district

Hyderabad, September 30: With the deadline fast approaching, the administration is in confusion over formation of fourth district, i.e., Hanamkonda, without clarity over this. The government has declared carving of Warangal, Hanamkonda, Bhupalpally and Mahabubabad districts.

The distribution of files and furniture and other works of three districts were almost completed and start functioning from October 11. The works pertaining to Hanamkonda district were also completed but waiting for the CM?s approval.

Meanwhile, agitations demanding carving of Pakala and Wardhannapet districts instead of Hanamkonda were intensified. Protests demanding Jangaon district are also increasing with each day. But Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao declared there is no question of Jangaon district.

With this, the Jangan JAC organized jana garjana meeting with about one lakh supporters and decided to conduct Chandi Yagam. The District Collector inspected the office of Irrigation department Superintendent Engineer at Nakkalagutta to set up Hanamkonda district Collectorate.

The District Collector said all arrangements were completed for the fourth district also and waiting for the CM's decision over the formation of fourth district.
