Murder in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, April 13: A 45-year-old woman was stabbed to death by unidentified persons at Ramgopalpet on Wednesday morning.

The woman, who is yet to be identified, was found on the roadside near the Sanjeeviah Park railway station by local people who alerted the police. The Ramgopalpet police shifted the body to the Gandhi Hospital mortuary where it is preserved for identification.

"The assailants stabbed the woman with a sharp object on her legs and private parts. We are trying to establish her identity to proceed further," said the police.

Police are also checking footage from closed-circuit cameras installed in the area. A CLUES teams visited the scene of offense and collected possible evidence.
