BJP trying to convince that Spl package is better deal

Vijayawada, September 26: The special status issue to Andhra Pradesh has become a pain in the neck to the BJP, which is planning to strenghten its party in the State. The Modi government at the Centre declared its inability to give special status now and in future also.

The AP party leaders unable to fight with the high command are trying to inject the people that special package is far better than special status. They are planning to quote Gujarat State as an example which has developed industrially with abundant funds.

They are planning to explain the public through media about the financial help provided by the BJP government at the Centre to the AP government. They are not leaving a single chance to sing the Modi government's largesse before the media.

Its known that all Opposition parties are demanding special package and special status also to the AP. YSRCP leaders said that the special financial package was nothing but the total funds for implementing several promises made in the State Bifurcation Act.

'In fact, special package is the right of the State. How the Centre can term it as an alternate to special status', they questioned.
