KCR KIT for new borns and mothers

Hyderabad, March 22: The Telangana Medical department has decided to provide a new scheme for newborns and mothers is to reduce child and Maternal deaths in the state.

It is also the first to be named after the TRS Supreme KCR, which termed as 'KCR KIT'. The "KCR Kit" will have 16 items worth of Rs.2000.The Kit contains 6 diapers cost of Rs.100, a mosquito net and mattress with the cost of Rs.350 besides cosmetics like johnson baby soaps, moisture oils and shampoos as well as toys is to be handed out, spending Rs 605 crore.For Mothers Mysore sandal soaps and two sarees, one plastic bucket and one bag.

The Govt has planning to buy the 3 lakhs of kit and will given to mothers. It is modelled on Tamil Nadu's "Amma Kit" for the same target group.
