6 private buses seized

Hyderabad, March 18: Transport Department officials on Friday seized six private buses and booked a case against the operators who were openly flouting Motor Vehicle norms near Shamshabad on the Bengaluru highway.

Both Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy District Transport authorities conducted special drives to seize vehicles and booked cases against 28 such operators.

The transport officials nearly checked the nearly 70 buses which travel from Kerala, Bengaluru, Tamilnadu to Hyderabad

"Seized buses were moved to nearest TSRTC depot and will not be released till the penalties were paid," said M Praveen Rao, Ranga Reddy District Transport Officer
