50% Reservation for PG medical courses

New Delhi, March 18: The central government has been decided to encourage the doctors, they should be worked in villages. The govt has stated that, The Govt has proposed to allocate at least 50% of reservation in Post Graduate medical courses to the govt. medical authorities, who had worked in villages for at least 3 years.

From this aspect, The govt has been planning to introduce Indian Medical Council (Amendment) Bill in Parliament. This proposal was addressed by Union Minister of State for Health Faggan Singh in Lok Sabha.

He also said that, "After completion of the PG medical courses, who have claimed the 50% reservation, They must be work in poor villages for at least 3 years."
